THE STORY OF BUTTS & BARLEY SMOKEHOUSE
In 2016, the Eliasen family opened Butts & Barley Smokehouse. Eva Eliasen, the owner, ran the restaurant for four years before tragically passing away in an accident. After our mom passed away in 2020, we decided to sub-lease the restaurant to a sports bar to take time to heal. In 2022, we decided to come back and reopen Butts & Barley by popular demand. Now me (Emma, 21) and my sister (Anna, 24) run the restaurant Thursday-Saturday. We are open 3 days a week because we are full-time college students and we are struggling with the country-wide staffing shortage. Thanks for your support.
